What do you do when your organization is preparing for a ten-year effort to effectively end poverty in the community by the year 2015? Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties decided to celebrate its rich history and use their progress over the last 40 years as a testimony to the leadership and commitment of Community Action Partnership’s volunteers, staff and alumni. Thoughtful planning, led by the Blue Grotto team, helped the anniversary steering committee identify goals, objectives and measurements of their anniversary to reflect Community Action Partnership’s overall strategies. Blue Grotto’s facilitated planning put the steering committee in a better position to evaluate and prioritize tactics that Community Action Partnership considered to leverage support to propel their strategic plan forward.
