  YVONNE HUNDSHAMER, PRESIDENT

Yvonne Hundshamer is the founder of Blue Grotto Inc., a Minnesota business that works with organizations to document culture and values, celebrate milestones and articulate vision. As a corporate history and culture consultant, she has directed both the research and project management on client projects including: 3M, Despatch Industries, Medtronic and National Car Rental. Before becoming a self-proclaimed ‘corporate anthropologist,’ she spent six years in the communications office of Minnesota Governor Arne Carlson.

Yvonne serves on the board of directors of Hands On Twin Cities, and co-chaired the 2006 Public Policy Forum on the Impact of Volunteerism in Minnesota Communities at the Humphrey Institute. She is also a long-time member of The Junior League of Saint Paul.

Her articles: Celebrating Your Organization’s Anniversary and Storytelling As a Fund Development Tool have been published in nonprofit newsletters across the country.

Her favorite part of her job? The opportunity to get in-depth perspective from client one-on-one interviews. “People are pretty candid in their interviews. It is often very humbling to hear their personal stories of success, and challenges, and then to help an organization learn from those stories.”
